A dialogue between natural forces, such as temperature or seismic movements, which we do not see but which affect us and are in perpetual transformation.
Fenomen (Phenomenon) is the first artistic collaboration between Quim Girón (contemporary circus artist) and Moon Ribas (cyborg choreographer), where they investigate how to bring natural phenomena on stage. A duet that dialogues with temperature and ice is the main element they use to shape different universes. During the piece, the constant transformation is manifested as much in the atmosphere, as in the artists’ bodies, as in the matter. Fenomen invites the audience to an alive, close, poetic, and unique space.
