Have you ever seen or imagined a handcrafted installation big as 70m2? Is it possible to create a castle full of adventures made of balls, crochet and colours? Can you jump over it? Can funny animals live in it?
The answer is yes. Playscapes is a production of Art Croche for the little ones created by the Belgian artist Cathy Bertel. Cathy Bertel creates sculptures and sculptural environments made with non-traditional artistic materials, tires, elastic fabrics and crochet. Bertel’s work is directed to the whole body and makes it participate in the experience in an active and autonomous way.
A platform of tires, balls and nets to jump non-stop. Full of shapes, colours and sizes. Everything starts with a swing ball, which makes hearts beat faster. But soon you will discover balls that are like bats with absolutely funny faces.
